This is how much fun our volunteers have…
We’re looking for more volunteers to join our incredible Fundraising Committee. No experience necessary, just a sense of humour and an interest in helping animals. Our committee members tackle a variety of tasks including:
- Organizing events such as our gala dinner, walkathon and golf tournament
- Working with local businesses on sponsorships and donations
- Coming up with new fundraising ideas
- Working with community groups raising funds for the New Animal Shelter
- Thanking our generous donors
- Researching funding resources
- And much more
Meetings are held on the second Monday of the month at 7pm, alternating between Port Perry and Uxbridge. Why not check out an upcoming meeting too see if it’s a fit? For more information, please email fundraising@animal-shelter.ca.
